The apartment complex has 3 beautiful pools set in lovely gardens. There is a large family pool (pictured above) with a children's pool next to it, both of which are supervised by a lifeguard. In another part of the gardens is a smaller pool for over 18's only, which can be used up to 11 pm. |

| There are 3 beautiful pools, a large family pool with children's pool, both of which are supervised by a lifeguard. In another part of the immaculate gardens is the 3rd pool for over 18's only, which can be used up to 11pm. A five minute walk away is the Aztec Country Club (open to all), which has tennis, crazy golf, heated pool, internet cafe, phone box, hairdresser, beauty salon, American and Italian restaurants and Games Zone for kids. The town is 15 minutes walk, and has beach access, supermarket, convenience store, cash machine, bars, restaurants, beach & gift shops, coach excursion booking office, bus stop, taxi rank. | ||

Golf Information: The apartment overlooks the prestigious Miraflores golf course, and there are over 40 other courses within easy driving distance. Green fees at Miraflores are 55 euros - you will need your handicap card to play there. 18 holes - par 70, Miraflores also offers a covered two tier driving range, golfing academy, excellent restaurant and shops. The club house is a 2 minute drive from the apartment. Location: Located in Riviera del Sol, midway between Fuengirola and Marbella, it is 30 mins. drive from Malaga Airport. Car rental from the airport starts at less than £15 per day. Easyjet offer cheap flights from Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool, Newcastle, Luton, Stansted and Gatwick airports. Several other discount airlines fly to Malaga as well. A lot of the airlines do cheaper flights on Tuesdays which you can take advantage of as we do not restrict bookings to Saturday-Saturday. If you want to hire a car, it's best to get one from the airport - book online for best prices. For those who don't like to drive on holiday, there is a bus service along the coast road from Malaga all the way to Marbella, and Riviera has a taxi rank, and also a booking office for coach trips to all the major attractions. A 15 minute drive along the coast road takes you to La Canada, a huge shopping mall and multi screen cinema. Aztec Country Club: A 5 minute walk away is the Aztec Country Club with mini golf and tennis, game zone and kids club, and for the girls, there is a Health and Beauty Centre offering everything from nail extensions, massage and seaweed wraps to children's haircuts. They also have a heated outdoor pool. The Aztec also has the best Italian restaurant on the coast, plus an American restaurant and an internet cafe. Also in easy walking distance is a typically Spanish restaurant and bar, Venta del Golf, where you can sit out on a huge veranda to eat in the summer, or indoors by an open fire on chilly evenings. Local Amenities: There is a supermarket which is a 10 minute walk, which will deliver orders. In the centre of Riviera del Sol (about 15 minutes walk) there are several bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, beach shops, cash machine and a convenience store open every day until 2 a.m., and also a pretty little park dedicated to Princess Diana. Another five minutes walking brings you to Calypso where there is a lovely old building called El Zoco which houses a good variety of shops built around open patio gardens with bars & restaurants. There is also a medical centre, several pharmacies & a dentist (!) . The beach at Riviera is completely unspoilt, with vegetation growing above the high water line, & rocky outcrops in the sand. Nearby La Cala and Cabopino both have wide sandy beaches with all the usual facilities. Cabopino has a beautiful marina with a good choice of restaurants & La Cala also has a twice weekly market on Wednesdays & Fridays. All the amenities are open all year round. Things to do: a fascinating day trip, high in the mountains is Mijas, a thriving town in the 9th century which still has walls from the old Moorish fort. There are interesting museums, art galleries and good quality craft shops selling gorgeous items by highly respected artists and craftsmen, as well as a lovely walk around the old walls with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The town offers a huge variety of places to eat as well as many mediaeval buildings to admire, and a free flamenco show in the central square every Wednesday at 12. Further afield, there is the Alhambra palace complex in Granada, the old city of Seville, and Gibraltar with its huge gun, caves, cable car (or steps for the energetic) to the top, and dolphin safaris in Gibraltar bay. The area has several aquaparks, zoos, a crocodile park, aquarium, equestrian dressage displays and flamenco shows. The more adventurous might like to drive on to Algeciras and get the ferry across to Tangiers in North Africa. |
